Associating assets to an existing work order

You can associate assets to an existing work order.

Step 1: Identifying the assets to associate

To identify the assets you want to associate to a work order, the process is identical to the process for creating a new work order using the polygon, circle, or line tool. However, instead of selecting the Create option from the ACTIONS tab, you select ADD ASSETS. The following screen appears:

Step 2: Associating the assets to a work order

Select a work order from the list and click SAVE. The assets selected will be associated to the relevant order.

TIP

If you select a particular app, say Hydrant Inspector or Manhole Inspector, from the App Chooser screen, when you use the polygon/circle/line tool, only asset types applicable to that app are initially selected to be associated with the work order.
