The map

The map allows you to select and view assets, navigate to a work location, view your own current location, and capture or update an asset or work location.

You will frequently switch between forms and the map.

Selecting the Map button displays the work order centered on the map.

The features highlighted in the screen are described in the table below:

Button	Description
	Opens the Map menu.
	Complete work order.
	On Site work order.
	Location of asset.
	Asset – In progress.
	Asset – Completed.
	Asset – Failed.
	Selecting this button allows you to draw a 'rubber-band' around an area of the map. Work orders and assets appear in a list: Tap on the location icon of a work order or asset in the list. It appears on the map. You can then navigate to it. See Map menu options.
	Shows the list of available online and offline basemaps. You can use ArcGIS online basemaps when connected to the Internet, rather than downloading the basemaps.
	Switch layers on and off. Layers vary depending on what app you have chosen in the App Chooser screen.
	Opens the Work Order list.
	Shows the map.
