Form Manager Fields

The following fields and icons are used in the Form Manager page.

  • Title: Displays the title of existing forms.
  • Description: Displays the description of existing forms.
  • Created Date: Displays the date the form was created.
  • Created By: Displays the name of the user that created the form.
  • Used By: Displays the apps that use the form.
  • Actions:
  • Unity WM ArcGIS Connector Form Link icon: Click to copy the URL link.
  • Share Form icon: Click to open the link to copy and share with other instances of Trimble Unity.
  • Edit Form icon: Click to edit the form.
  • Delete Form icon: Click to delete the form.

Form Fields

The following fields are found in Form Fields.

Standard Fields:

  • Data:
  • Text: Allows for manual entry.
  • Integer: Allows for an integer entry.
  • Decimal: Allows for a decimal entry.
  • Date: Allows for date selection.
  • Boolean: Allow for a boolean answer selection.
  • Multiple Choice: Allows for multiple choice options for specific questions.
  • Barcode: Allows for generic barcode scanning.
  • User: Allows for users to be assigned to the form.
  • Asset Association: Allows for associating forms to assets.
  • List: Allows for other fields to be grouped together in a list. For more information on how to configure this, see Create and Import Forms.
  • Image:
  • Signature: Allows for signature capture on the form.
  • Layout:
  • Group: Allows for the creation of new groups or pages within the form.
  • Geometry:
  • Geometry: Allows the capture of position information of the asset.

Advanced Options:

  • Required: Marks this standard field as required.
  • Read-Only: Marks this standard field as read only.
  • Allow edits after Save: Marks this standard field as editable after it is saved.
  • Include in Auto-Generated Reports: Marks this standard field as included in the auto-generated reports.
  • Enable Copying across Forms: Marks this standard field as able to be copied across forms.
  • Conditional Question: Marks this standard field as a conditional question. Conditional questions appear if any or all of the specified values are selected, otherwise they are hidden.
  • Allow Multi Select: Marks this standard field as able to select multiple answers.
  • Expression for Default: Allows a default value to display in the field.
  • Allow Adding List Entries: Allows users to add list entries in the mobile app. This option is only available for list data types.
  • Allow Deletion of List Entries: Allows users to delete list entries in the mobile app. This option is only available for list data types.
  • Allow Editing List Entries: Allows users to edit list entries in the mobile app. This option is only available for list data types.
