Once you have completed this section, you should know how to:

• control notification of when new maps are available
• connect to a GPS receiver
• clear cached data from your device
• change how, and when, Trimble Unity syncs with Trimble Unity Cloud
• provide database and log files to Trimble Water Support engineers to help them investigate and resolve issues that may occur

Usually you or a supervisor will set up Trimble Unity on the mobile device before you log in and start using it.
