How to create a work order on the device

1. From the Home screen of the app, tap and then tap . The New Work Order screen appears:

   

2. Complete the key work order details. Compulsory fields are marked with an *.
3. Capture the location of the work order:

   1. Scroll down the General tab to the Geo Location field:

      

   2. Tap either Capture (to capture the current GPS position) or Map (to take a digitized location from the map when GPS is not available).

      If you tap Map, the map opens and a red flashing icon appears on the map to show the location:

      

   3. Tap Save to save the location of the work order.

4. Tap Save to save the work order.

   You are returned to the Map screen. An icon appears to show the location of the work order: .

5. A message appears stating that the work order has been created. Tap Close.

To associate assets to the work order:

1. Open the Work Order list.
2. Tap the required work order to open it.

3. Click to associate the assets to the work order.

   

4. The Select Assets to Add screen appears.

5. Tap on the map around the assets that you want to capture and then tap one of the highlighted assets within the boundary to select the assets:

   

6. A list of selected assets appears. Highlighted assets are shown on the map as a black dot:

   

7. Deselect any that you do not want associated on the work order and then tap Save .
