• Advanced Data Collection Form Configurations
• Streamline field data collection effort, reduce data entry errors, and improve quality of data with advanced form configurations. Administrators now have access to an additional step in the Form Editor to configure advanced scripting options to extend the capabilities of forms. Some examples include field validations that can prompt warning messages to users if values are outside of a range and configuring scripts to calculate values like flow rate or time on site. Also, support for transferring data captured from Trimble Unity WM forms into third party systems like Maximo and SAP.
• Display Field for Forms Configuration
• Quickly identify data collection forms without having to review each form details on the web and mobile apps. Administrators can now configure the display field used on the form lists from the Form Editor. The display field can be defined as a single field or combination of fields from the form.
• Tooltips for Lengthy Form Questions
• Quickly review lengthy form questions without having to edit each one individually to view the full text. Administrators authoring forms in the Form Editor can quickly review the entire question text as a tooltip.
• Enhanced User Administration
• Quickly identify users that were added recently and validate that they were created correctly. Administrators can use the ‘Created Date’ value that was added to the user table, along with other information to sort the list and quickly find users they are looking for.
• Create New Work from Existing Work Orders
• Save time and effort when creating new work for assets that are on existing work orders, especially when they may not all be in the same geographic area and are not easily selectable at one time from the map. The web app users can now create a new work order from existing work that includes all the assets as well as key information from the original work order.
• Mobile Sync Status on Work Activities
• Quickly identify work items that have been updated but have not been synchronized with the web app. Providing added confidence when syncing is needed and data is already updated on the web app. The Trimble Unity Mobile application now displays a sync status for each work item as well as a general indicator that there are edits to be synchronized.
• Improved Asset Locate Tool
• Locate existing assets with greater insight to its location relative to your current position, with the additional fields that were added to the Asset Navigation tool in the Trimble Unity Mobile application.
• Additional Trimble Unity WM Improvements
• Added support for additional data points accessible through the Trimble Unity WM ArcGIS Connector API, this includes FieldTypeBarcode, FieldTypeJavaScript, and FieldTypeAssets.
• Improved work activity filter functionality on the Trimble Unity WM Web app and added predefined date filters to quickly find recent work activities.
• Improved Mobile Offline Base Map management from the Trimble Unity Web app.
• Added Purge Attachment capability from Trimble Unity Mobile Application to define how long form and work order attachments stay on the device allowing Administrators to better manage device storage.
• Added the option to collect a date without a time from the Trimble Unity Android Mobile app to eliminate any extra clicks from the field.
